My name is Thiago Leão. I'm originally from Brazil. My name can be a bit strange to pronounce at first if this is the first time you are seeing it - however, I guarantee its quite straightforward.
I specialize in stress and feeling overwhelmed. I focus on self-determination and worth issues. The people I work with have attempted to and failed to use coping strategies to deal with angst. I do not approach psychological practice from a manualized point of view. I subscribe to a psychodynamic approach, which implies that I believe that the psyche is a living, breathing, dancing process. It's derived from the oldest, most time tested, comprehensive and holistic methodology there is.
I strive to incorporate the whole person in treatment - somatic, cognitive, and depth psychological components are all taken into account. I believe it's psychology at its most powerful application.
For families, individuals and couples when "something else" needs to happen.
