My Approach

ONE SIZE, DOESN'T FIT ALL

  • The beginning of any therapeutic relationship involves at first building trust and getting to know one another.
  • Therapy is Fluid. Stating that there isn't a  "one size fits all" solution for your situation should be a given. In any case, I hold the view that it is.
  • I believe in promoting the individual and their true expression of Self. This is a core concept in couples work as well.
  • I am influenced by Depth Psychology, Existentialism, Buddhist Dharma and Brain Science in my clinical orientation. At the core I believe in focusing on well-being and promoting freedom.

The path ahead is not always clear, nor does it seem to be ahead at all sometimes. Understanding our motivations and why we're feeling the way we are involves exploring patterns of behavior and relationships in our present day experience.

DREAMS

"Are the highway to the psyche" as Freud stated.  It is my experience that psychotherapy influences the architecture of our dreams in profound ways. I'm interested in dream interpretation, analysis and fundamentally in how your sleeping.

Meditation

MIND-BODY BALANCE

I've been teaching and studying meditation for the past 12 years. If interest is present, meditation is a proven way to immediately impact a general sense of well-being and workability with emotions.

MEDITATION AND THERAPY
